Do you have examples of Challenges?

We don’t have a list of Challenges, but we are always happy to provide some best practices or examples based on what your organization needs. We typically tailor the challenge to fit the culture and setup of your company or group.

A couple recommendations we always make…

• For your first challenge, keep it general. We recommend doing a Sustainability (or thematic) Challenge that includes all our actions in the theme. This helps people get to know the app without limitations and leaves lots of options for participation. For future challenges, you can be more specific with themes – like office related actions, water saving actions, etc.
• Use teams. This is a great way to have your users encourage others, boost engagement, and build camaraderie. For the first challenge, set up teams in a simple identifiable way that users can easily self-select, like departments, office locations, etc. For a future challenges, you can mix it up with our Ad Hoc setup where users can build their own teams.
• Offer incentives. Having prizes really boosts engagement, and they don’t have to be expensive. Our favorite are experiences (food, tickets to events, etc), which is not always possible given the pandemic. Our company runs our own challenges, and we offer gift cards to local farmers markets, produce delivery services, plant-based restaurants, etc. Another good option is to stay on theme with sustainable products.
